- Connecting to common data sources
- Power Query: cleaning, shaping, and combining data
- Star schema design: fact tables, dimension tables, relationships
- Calculated columns vs measures — when to use each
- Hands-on: build a clean data model from messy source data
Day 2 — DAX, visualisations & deployment
- DAX fundamentals: filter context and row context
- Core measures: CALCULATE, SUMX, DIVIDE, time intelligence
- Choosing the right chart for the right message
- Bookmarks, drill-through, and dynamic report features
- Publishing to Power BI Service: workspaces and apps
- Row-level security and sharing reports securely
